Abstract
The study investicates the impact of ICT of bank performance in Nigeria. It specifically examines the impact of ATM transactions, USSD transactions POS transactions, Mobile banking transactions, Electronic funds transfer transactions on deposit money banks performance in Nigeria. The study covers the time frame of 15 years (2008-2022). The base year was chosen to reflect those periods that reflects broad utilisation of ICT tools by deposit money banks in Nigeria.
The ordinary Least Square Method was used to examine the relationship between the dependent and independent variables. The study reveals that ATM transactions, USSD transactions, Mobile banking transactions, and Electronic money transfer transactions have a positive significant impact on the commercial bank performance.
It is therefore recommended that the banking industry must take advantage of ICT in order to provide a better financial serviceto their customers and sensitize their point of sales terminal agents to ensure sound financial banking ethics so as to guild the agents' operation s against financial fraud and increase customers patronage and boost financial performance in economy.
