The study investigates the impact of human capital on industrial growth in Nigeria. The main objective of the study is to examine the impact of human capital on industrial growth in Nigeria from 1981 to 2021. The Fully Modified Ordinary Least Square (FMOLS) method was used. The study found the level of tertiary school enrollment positively impacts the manufacturing output and also the level of labour participation rate positively impacts the manufacturing output while on the other hand government expenditure on the health of human capital was found to have a negative and significant impact on manufacturing output in Nigeria. The study therefore recommends that the government should avoid wasteful and unproductive labour that yield little or no returns to industrial output. This can be achieved by adopting effective employment process in governmental industries to make sure the unqualified hands are not employed into the system.
