ABSTRACT

To achieve this, we will utilize the System Advisor Model (SAM) software, a powerful tool for analyzing the performance and economics of renewable energy systems. By inputting various parameters and simulating different scenarios, we will evaluate the impact of different heat transfer fluids on the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the CSP plant. Our methodology involves analyzing the performance metrics of the CSP plant, such as the capacity factor, thermal efficiency, and levelized cost of electricity (LCOE). We will compare the results obtained using different heat transfer fluids, considering factors like their thermal properties, stability, and cost. The findings from this study will contribute to the growing body of knowledge on the optimization of CSP plants by identifying the most suitable heat transfer fluids for enhanced performance and economic viability. The results will be valuable for industry professionals, policymakers, and researchers involved in the field of renewable energy. In conclusion, this project aims to assess the impact of heat transfer fluids on the performance and economics of Concentrated Solar Power plants. By utilizing the SAM software and considering various performance metrics, cost factors, and environmental considerations, we will provide insights into the optimal selection of heat transfer fluids for efficient and economically viable CSP plants.
