Abstract

This study examines the impact of educational programs aired by the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) Benin on the academic performance of students. Through a mixed-methods approach involving surveys, interviews, and academic performance analysis, the research assesses the effectiveness of NTA Benin's educational content in enhancing students' learning outcomes. By investigating the viewership patterns, perception of educational programs, and academic achievements of students exposed to NTA Benin's educational broadcasts, the study seeks to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the programming and its influence on academic performance. The findings contribute to a better understanding of the role of television in supporting educational initiatives and informing policy decisions aimed at improving learning outcomes in Nigeria.
