ABSTRACT
The primary goal of this study was to investigate the Impact of Covid-19 pandemic on the Socioeconomic life of women with special needs in Benin metropolis, Nigeria. Using a sample of 150 women using a multi-stage sampling procedure among the women with special needs in Benin Metropolis, Nigeria. The content validity was established using test re-test method, the descriptive survey design was used and the structured questionnaire was used for data collection, frequency count, percentage and mean score were used to analyze the data collected. The result of the data anaylzed revealed that Covid-19 pamdemic really affect the women with special needs in Benin Metropolis,Nigeria. The results also show how Covid-19 Pandemic has affected the women with special needs economically and socially.The was also revealed that Covid-19 affected women with special needs, making them unable to afford three (3) square meals during and after the pandemic, putting them in a situation where they could not afford the payment of rent, downgrading them financially making them not to be able to afford the payment of bills and utilities, causing them to relocate to low-cost areas in Benin Metropolis.
