ABSTRACT
This study examines the Impact of AI technology on Nollywood, Nigeria’s expanding film industry. The researcher examined how AI has revolutionized several aspects of Filmmaking, including production processes, storytelling techniques, and audience engagement strategies, using a thorough analysis of literature and industry perspectives. Advances in machine learning, computer vision, and natural language processing have allowed filmmakers to optimize budget allocation, improve visual effects, and tailor content to specific audience preferences. However, the incorporation of AI into Nollywood raises concerns regarding employment displacement, cultural authenticity, and ethical considerations. Despite these challenges, strategic AI deployment provides potential for innovation, growth, and global recognition within the business. This study concludes with recommendations for stakeholders to harness the full potentials of AI while addressing its associated challenges responsibly.
