It was found that there is a significant relationship between entrepreneurship and economic development as entrepreneurship reduces stagnation and entrepreneurial activities promotes economic growth.

The study also revealed that people are aware of entrepreneurship development in the nation as teaching of basic entrepreneurship skills are available in most institutions in Nigeria.

It was also revealed that the major constraints inhibiting entrepreneurs from carrying out their roles in economic development are inadequate start up capital, lack of venturing spirit and inadequate knowledge and training about the business they want to establish.

In addition, the study also revealed that government policies has contributed to the development of entrepreneurship as government provide the necessary incentives for the growth of entrepreneurship and government can provide accessible to credit facilities. Finally government should endeavor to address the problem of industrialists in the country with special reference to the development entrepreneurship with regard to providing the necessary infrastructure and establishing conducive environment for the entrepreneurs.
