ABSTRACT
The study was designed to elicit the influence of instructional materials on achievement of instructional materials in teaching biology and retention of biology concept among SS students.
To achieve this, four research questions were formulated during the course of the study. To explore these research questions, sectioned designed questions were used as the instrument for data collection. The sample size for the study consist of 200 senior secondary school students.
Based on the findings, it was recommended that there is need for teachers to make use of instructional materials to teach Biology in senior secondary schools.
