ABSTRACT
The study investigated the effects of formal education on entrepreneurship in Nigeria. The objectives this study is to examine the impact of formal education on entrepreneurship in Nigeria, to examine the significance of formal education on entrepreneurship and to analyze the prevalence of formal instruction on entrepreneurship in Nigerian universities. The study is designed to specifically target undergraduate students at the University of Benin, with the aim of assessing the influence of formal education on entrepreneurship and its potential in mitigating unemployment. The population of this study is made up of students from the entrepreneurial departments. The questionnaires were framed to reflect every aspect of the research question. Future research should be conducted to explore the effects of targeted entrepreneurial education programs on the success of startups in Nigeria and also to examine the impact of informal education, such as apprenticeships and vocational training, on entrepreneurial results in Nigeria. Analyze the impact of formal education on female entrepreneurship in Nigeria, focusing on the unique obstacles and advantages faced by women in this field. There should a comparative analysis of the influence of formal education on entrepreneurship in various regions of Nigeria, taking into consideration cultural and economic disparities. Formal education in Nigeria should be encourage to foster entrepreneurial capacity.
