SUMMARY
This chapter summarizes the details of what the study is about, the method used in collecting data and the findings of the collected data. The study was aimed at examining the Effect of Integration of Information and communication technology (ICT) into Mass communication curriculum in Nigeria. A study of Mass communication lecturers and students of UNIBEN. It was carried out using the survey research method. The survey research method for gathering data for the study made use of questionnaire as the research instrument to gather data from the respondents which provided the findings of the study.
On the basis of the responses gathered from the respondents through the questionnaire, the following were the findings of the study:
Students and lecturers of the Department of Mass communication, UNIBEN are exposed to ICT related courses in the Mass communication curriculum, UNIBEN. However, the extent at which they've been exposed to ICT-related courses in Mass communication curriculum is low.
The attitude of the respondents toward ICT-related courses in the Mass communication curriculum, UNIBEN, is positive.
Lecturers and students of Mass communication are not satisfied with the integration of ICT-related courses in the Mass communication curriculum.
