ABSTRACT
Dance has been part of human history since its earliest origins, bringing transcendence ( the quality of being able to go beyond normal limits or boundaries) to rituals and creating bonds within communities. Dance styles have changed through history, but dance itself remains one of the most expressive physical art forms. Dance has been part and parcel of most cultures in the world. It has been regarded as the oldest of the art forms, being inherently part of man and has a role to play in most societies by aiding development of man and society at large.
