ABSTRACT

This work explores the concept of mysticism in Islam and Hinduism, two of the world's major religions with rich mystical traditions. It examines how mysticism manifests in each tradition through practices such as Sufism in Islam and various paths of mysticism in Hinduism, including Bhakti Yoga, Jnana Yoga, and Kundalini Yoga. The abstract discusses common themes such as the pursuit of direct experience of the divine, the importance of inner purification, and the transcendence of egoic limitations. It highlights the diversity of theological frameworks, cultural expressions, and spiritual practices within each tradition while emphasizing their shared goal of spiritual realization and union with the divine. Ultimately, the abstract suggests that exploring the concept of mysticism in Islam and Hinduism offers profound insights into the universal human quest for spiritual awakening and the realization of ultimate reality.
