ABSTRACT
In Nigeria, it is no news of how alcoholism, drug addiction, even gluttony has affected the youths of our present day. Unfortunately, this problem cuts across International Countries as the consequences are not cheap. They hide under the excuse of "craving" as their reason for addiction, however, craving of course plays a part, but we are oblivious to the long term benefits craving can cause.
This project opens our eyes to the actual concept of craving, due to this research we now know what craving is, and what it is not, its roles in both positive and negative aspects of life of the Nigerian youth. This painting project was put together through the construction of stretcher, stretching the canvas and priming. It would also have within the sketches and the transfer of the sketches to the canvas. The painting project highlights the various stages, steps and finally detailing of figures, adhering to the elements and principles, under the project supervisor the painting is regarded as successful.
The objective of the project is to enlighten the general public and the government on the concept and theory of craving, its play in addiction, therefore correcting the misconception of the term craving. This research included both literary and visual materials. Finding were made with the help of the internet, camera and individual documents of health officials.
