SUMMARY
In most societies of the world, women are faced with multiple roles which they perform in the society. These roles occur in the family, the economy, and in several other social institutions in the society. These roles often overlap and result in anxiety within the individual which sociologist refer to as “multiple role strain”. The primary aim of this research was to ascertain if technology has been beneficial with respect to the activities which women perform in the society. These include activities which women perform in the family, the economy and the society at large.
