ABSTRACT
Chalcones, a class of compounds characterized by their a, B-unsaturated carbonyl structure, have garnered significant attention in various fields due to their various pharmacological properties. The potential insecticidal properties of chalcones remained underexplored, hindering the development of sustainable pest control alternatives. The aim of this study was to synthesize and ivestigate the insecticidal activity of synthesized chalcones against cowpea weevils.
