ABSTRACT
This study evaluates the usability, accessibility, performance, security, and mobile responsiveness of e-government websites in Cross River, Rivers, and Delta states. The findings reveal poor accessibility compliance, slow load times, and security weaknesses, such as lack of HTTPS and outdated SSL configurations. To improve digital governance, the study recommends adopting WCAG accessibility standards, optimizing performance, strengthening cybersecurity, and enhancing mobile responsiveness. Implementing these changes will make Nigerian e-government platforms more efficient, inclusive, and secure, increasing public engagement.
