ABSTRACT
The surrealist vision of the world of Fraudsters “yahoo boys” create their own reality that is different from the normal world . They see themselves as modern day Robin Hoods or even as magicians that can manipulate technology to get what they want. This will involve elements of deception, illusion and even a distorted sense of morality. But it still important to note that yahoo boy activities are illegal and harmful to other.
This project seeks to show the distorted vision through visual using surrealism on a 6 by4 ground and a mixed medium of oil and acrylic on canvas.
Thus the making of this project which depicts the surrealism in the world of yahoo boys in a detention center with much regard given to portray surrealism as well as aesthetic. Again, the researcher seeks to expose artists to a better technique in handling oil and acrylic together .
