ABSTRACT

This study aimed at the investigation of students use of AI tutors for online mathematics learning. Five(5) research questions guided this study. The population of this study comprised of a sample of 60 respondents were used for the study and this was selected selected through simple random sampling technique.

The study adopted survey research design for the study and the major instruments used for data collection was questionnaire. The questionnaire was validated and the reliability was determined through T- test  method.

The findings of the study revealed the great advantage in using AI tutors for online mathematics learning. There is a perceptible shift in students' engagement with the subject, attributed to AI tutors in teaching methods for online learning, compounded, including the difficulties in obtaining timely feedback and sourcing reliable academic resources. Furthermore, access to necessary technological tools and dependable internet connectivit\y has been a consistent concern.
