ABSTRACT
This study investigated Students attitude towards the study of Economics Education in senior secondary schools in Ovia Northeast Local Government Area of Edo State. To achieve the purpose of the study, three research questions were raised and examined. The sample size for the study was made up of 200 respondents randomly selected. The questionnaire was the instrument for data collection. The descriptive survey research design was adopted for the study. An analysis of data was done using frequency count and simple percentage. The findings from the study include that there is a high level of students attitudes towards the study of Economics Education in senior secondary school in Ovia Northeast Local Government Area of Edo State. It was concluded that there is a great attitude of students towards the study of Economics Education in Ovia Northeast Local Government Area of Edo State. The study recommended that conducive environment should be provided by the government for efficient implementation of educational laws to enhance effective teaching. It was also recommended that efforts should be made by the principals and teachers to always ensure that there is continual implementation of educational laws so as to improve on the teaching and learning activities.
