ABSTRACT
This study was designed to find out the possible stress management strategies adopted by Secondary School Principals in Egor Local government area of Edo state and to also determine the extent to which the stress management strategies affect their subordinates and their administrative performance. Four research questions were raised for the study.
The survey research design was adopted for this study. The population consists of sixteen Secondary Schools in Egor Local government area of Edo State. The respondents were selected through the simple random sampling technique. The researcher developed an instrument for the study which structured questionnaire. The instrument has twenty questions..
The findings of the study revealed that large number of are faced with stress at work place, they also employ different stress management techniques which in turn helps them to become more productive at their work place.
