ABSTRACT
This project critically examines the dance performance of Idia N’iyesigie as a technique for storytelling. To achieve this, the video clips of the dance were watched, analysed and an interview with the choreographer was carried out to provide a more authentic knowledge of the dance performance. Literary methodology was also explored to determine the theoretical basic aspect of the research. Thus, the research conclude that dance is an essential necessity for passing down history to the younger generations.
