STOCK MARKET PREDICTION USING MACHINE LEARNING

ABSTRACT

Forecasting a financial time series, such as stock market price, would be a very important step when developing investment portfolios. This step is very challenging due to the complexity and presence of a multitude of factors that may affect the value of certain stocks. In this project, we have designed a multilayer perceptron model to predict the Google stock. The model was trained over a dataset that spans over 12 years. We then also design an LSTM model to also predict the future price of the same stock.
