ABSTRACT

This project examines the Seven-Up Bottling Company's quality control procedures, with a particular emphasis on quality characteristics such as carbonation and the fill volume of bottles. Statistical packages such as Excel and Minitab were used to perform the analysis utilising secondary data that was acquired from the company.

With the aid of control charts, the results showed that the carbonation of bottles process is in-control, but the fill volume of bottles process had an out-of-control signal, suggesting possible variability and quality problems. To strengthen quality control procedures and guarantee constant product quality, recommendations for corrective actions and process enhancements were made.

This project carried out in Seven-Up Bottling Company, Benin City, Edo State, emphasizes how crucial proactive quality management is in preserving both customer satisfaction and product integrity.
