SUMMARY
This research work is centered on staff training/development and employee performance among junior academic staff of the university of Benin. The research designed adopted for this study was the descriptive design; the population consists of all Junior Academic Staff of University of Benin with a convenience sampling method of 100 Junior Academic Staff randomly selected across various academic and non academic unit. A self developed questionnaire was administered to solicit for response from respondents (Junior Academic Staff). Descriptive statistics of frequency distribution, percentage and the inferential statistics of a Chi-Square (X2 ) at 0.05 Level of significant were the statistics tools that were adopted for the data analysis.
