Particulate matter (PM) is a prerequisite component of outdoor air pollution and it refers to a complex mixture of solid particles and liquid droplets suspended in air. The spatial distribution of mean PM10 concentrations across twenty sampling points at Ekehuan Campus was determined using a BIAOLING air quality monitor. The sampling locations were randomly generated using ARC GIS version 4.2 software. Sampling was conducted weekly for one month, in January 2024 and the air quality index (AQI) values were also derived using an appropriate equation. The mean PM10 and relative humidity values valueswere subjected to one way ANOVA test conducted at 95% probability level. The One way ANOVA test revealed that was a significant difference in the PM10 levels at p >0.05. The air quality index of the sampled outdoor locations within Ekehuan Campus was moderate, it is recommended that more related studies focusing on the outdoor air quality of residential locations across Ekehuan Campus be conducted.
