ABSTRACT
African dance styles have always being a very unique style of dance because of its energy filled and electrifying movements. As human developed, so did the dances developed, African dances through the help of some afrobeats musicians combined different sounds, therefore bringing about the birth of African contemporary dances. Group dance has always being a joy to watch, mostly because of its diversity while dancing. Performing an African contemporary dance with a group and managing space properly is needed in such performance. It brings about good aesthetics and audience appreciation to the work of art.
