ABSTRACT
This work is a description of some non-verbal communicative objects in Edo. The aim of the study is to identify and describe the communicative nature of some objects and signs in Edo. The semiotic descriptive analysis was employed in the description of these objects identified in the language. The linguistic potentials of the objects were explained. Tape recorder and camera were used to collect the data from indigenous Edo speaking people within Benin Metropolis. Scholars are encouraged by this work to carry out similar research in other languages.
