ABSTRACT
In this work the Schrödinger wave equation is discussed, and different method of solving Schrödinger equation is also discussed. There are several methods that can be used to find the solution to the Schrödinger wave equation, some of which are also discussed in this project along with various potentials used in solving the equation. In this project the approximate analytical solution of the radial Schrödinger equation is obtained with the Coulomb-Eckart potential using the NikiforovUvarov method. To achieve this, the energy equation, parametric constants, and the corresponding wave function are calculated using the Nikiforov-Uvarov method.
