ABSTRACT
The removal of petrol subsidy in Nigeria has led to a challenging economic environment, making entrepreneurial survival crucial for business education graduates. This study investigates the impact of soft skills acquisition for business education graduates entrepreneurial survival resulting from petrol subsidy removal in Nigeria, with a focus on communication skills, collaboration skills, and critical thinking skills. Data was collected with the aid of questionnaire and data were collected from 200 business education graduates in Nigeria. The validity and reliability of the instrument were ascertain using the exert judgment and test-retest procedures. Results show that communication skills, collaboration skills, and critical thinking skills significantly influence entrepreneurial survival among business education graduates. The study recommends that business education programs in Nigeria should emphasize the development of these soft skills to enhance graduates' entrepreneurial survival in a challenging economic environment. The findings of this study contribute to the literature on entrepreneurial survival, soft skills acquisition, and business education in Nigeria.
