SUMMARY
This research study has been able to analyse to a large extent social aspect of Orimiyan masquerade festival in our society.
The study also throw more light on how masquerade festival plays a large role in the social aspect of the community. It's shows how culture and traditions influences the society and the people living in that society.
This study helps to broaden our perspective to the implication of linguistic view to our various culture. This study is an instrument of social change in the perspective of individuals to active participation in their own affairs.
The theoretical framework, "Ethnography of communication" using the speaking model, is used to adequately and meticulously describe any speech event, most especially the song extract for this study . And also the meaning of each images presented in the study. The data for this research study are songs for the masquerade, instrument and images, the sources of these data are from individual in the community where the festival takes place.
