ABSTRACT
The socio-cultural structure of the Nara Unateze people is rich and complex, with a variety of customs and traditions that have been passed down for generations. The people are known for their hospitality, their love of peace, and their strong sense of community. They are different elements of Nara Unateze socio-cultural structure which include: Festivals, which the people of Nara Unateze celebrate a number of it throughout the year, including the Omabe festival and the Iri Anyi festival. These festivals are an important part of the community's cultural identity and provide an opportunity for people to come together and celebrate their traditions. The Omabe Festival is a unique form of celebration that occurs every ending of Nara Unateze’s yearly calendar. It is a time for the community to come together and celebrate their shared culture and traditions. The festival features a variety of masquerades, music and dancing. While the Iri Anyi Festival is the main largest among many other festivals in Nara-unateze as a whole. It is a time for the community to thank God for the gift of fertile land and to celebrate the end of the planting season and the beginning of the harvest season.
