ABSTRACT

This study investigates the profound influence of societal factors on the behavioral patterns of secondary school students in Ovia North-East Local Government Area (LGA) of Edo State, Nigeria. Employing a descriptive research design, data was gathered from a sample of 150 secondary school students using the "Societal Influence and Student Behavior Questionnaire" (SISBQ). This questionnaire delved into diverse facets of students' behavioral patterns and the pervasive impact of societal elements on their choices and attitudes. The findings of this research provide valuable insights into the multifaceted ways in which societal influences mold student behavior within this specific regional context. This comprehensive study delves into the intricate web of societal factors and their profound influence on the behavioral dynamics exhibited by secondary school students within the confines of Ovia North-East Local Government Area (LGA) in Edo State, Nigeria.
