ABSTRACT
The examination of social vices in Idede Oseyande's Warri Nor Dey Carry Last sheds light on the challenges that confront the lives of people in the Nigerian society. It explores pervasive societal issues like police brutality and extortion, sexual abuse and stealing. Through the novel, we have revealed salient aspects of these issues that bother society and the far-reaching consequences that such vices have on society. In this work we satirize the actions of institutions like the Nigerian Police Force, we mirror sexual violations of individuals in society and lastly delve into the issue of stealing in Nigeria.
