ABSTRACT
The study examines sexual immorality and its effect among youth in selected Pentecostal churches in Benin. Morality today, it has been observed, is increasingly on the decay. Ethics as a way of ordered living which propagates ideal communal life and human relationship is speedily waning.
The aim and objective of the study includes to examine effects of sexual morality degeneracy in some selected Pentecostal churches in Benin City. To trace the cause of sexual immorality in Pentecostal churches in Benin City. To identify the factors encouraging sexual immorality in churches. finally, to access the socio-political effects of spread of Christian.
During the cause of this research, it was discovered that many factors are responsible immorality act such as poverty’ unemployment, security and government insensitive etc.it seem the churches are not doing enough to curb the various crimes because their focus is now on prosperity, everything that would make life comfortable rather on the building of the inner man in preparation for the world beyond. To solve some of the problems under focus in this work the following has been recommended viz.1. there should be free education at all levels social security allowance should be paid to all those who are not gainfully employed More industries should be established to accommodate more youths Technical/ vocational education should be encouraged so that our youths can gainfully have employed upon graduation.
