SUMMARY
Chapter one of this project is the introductory part that contains background of study, statement of problem, purpose of study, research questions, scope of study, significance of study, limitation of study the methodology which include research design, sample population, sample, instrument for data collection, method of data collection, data analysis
Chapter two of this research is presented in three sections: Conceptual review of literature which include, meaning of semantics, definition and explanation of pidgin, a brief history of Nigerian pidgin, use of Nigerian pidgin, creole, lingual franca and the definition of phrase and type of phrases and the other two sections are previous studies and the concern of the Present study
Chapter three showed the theoretical framework adopted for this research which is the referential theory of meaning by Richard and Ogben1923 and the contextual theory by Ludwig Withgestein and these theories is relevant to the research
Chapter four showed how the data was presented and analyzed contextually and referentially.
