ABSTRACT

The study was carried out to determine the skills required by students & graduates of technical colleges for self employment in electrical installation in Edo State. Survey research design was adopted for the study. The population for the study was 35 respondents comprises of teachers of electrical installation and maintenance work and workshop attendants. There was no sampling because of manageable size of the population. A Structured questionnaire was used as instrument for data collection. Cronbach alpha reliability method was used to determine the internal consistency of the instrument and 0.82 reliability coefficient value was obtained. Four research questions were formulated for the study.
