ABSTRACT
The broad objective of this study is to evaluate the effect of Revenue Mobilisation on Primary Education in Egor Local Government Area of Edo State. The study examine the level of Revenue Mobilisation in Egor local Government area and the extent to which Revenue are Utilized in Primary Education in Egor Local Government area, it revealed need for local governments to improve their performance considering its closeness to the grassroots residents. The secondary data was sources from the ministry of education and other relevant journals and the time frame for the work is from 2012 – 2022. The data collected from the questionnaire was analyzed using The simple percentage computation. Tables were also used for easy calculation and interpretation .
The aim is to understand the level of revenue mobilization and it’s effect on Primary Education in Egor local Government area, and propose strategies for effective financing and Service Delivery in Primary Education in Egor Local Government. The study revealed need for local governments to improve their performance considering its closeness to the grassroots residents This research contributes to enhancing the quality of Service Delivery in Primary Education in Egor Local Government Area .
