ABSTRACT
A study on the response of Congo grass (Brachiaria ruziziensis) and legume (Stylosanthes guianensis) mixture to organic manure was carried out in an open field in the New Faculty of Agriculture, University of Benin, Benin City in February, 2022. The treatments involved were 0 and 30 tons ha-1 of poultry manure, the variables measured were number of tiller, sward height and sward width. The Experimental design used was paired plot design. Manure application influenced the number of tillers, stake holders are therefore encouraged to embrace the concept of manure application for increase in the yield of pasture productivity.
