ABSTRACT
The study aimed to evaluate the reservoir potential and estimate the hydrocarbon volumes in the field. The analysis involved integrating seismic data and well logs to characterize the reservoir properties, including porosity, permeability, and fluid saturations. Volumetric calculations were performed to estimate the original oil in place (OOIP) and recoverable reserves. The results indicated that the tuja Field possesses significant hydrocarbon potential, with multiple reservoir zones identified. The estimated volumes are average porosities between 0.3 and 0.29, average hydrocarbon saturation between 0.57 and 0.86, average permeability between 2621mD and 2142mD, payzone thickness between 12.48ft and 22.98ft, effective porosities between 0.29 and 0.29. Suggest a substantial resource base, highlighting the field's importance for future exploration and production activities in the Niger Delta. And the prospect area which is said to be the bright spot in the reservoir is located at an area of about 5.897E+7ft^2(1353.78788 acres).
