ABSTRACT
Petrophysical analysis was conducted to evaluate four reservoirs and ranked their prospect potential for further evaluation and appraisal for field development. The results of the petrophysical evaluation for reservoir 1, 2, 3 and 4 gave gross reservoir thickness of 50ft, 160ft, 270ft and 180ft respectively, hydrocarbon column thickness of 14ft, 30ft, 110ft and 45ft respectively, net to gross of 80, 81, 80 and 86 respectively, porosity of 0.45, 0.26, 0.35 and 0.26 respectively and hydrocarbon saturation of 89.5%, 87.8%, 89.6% and 89.1% respectively. After analysis have been done these reservoirs were then ranked based on the aforementioned properties. From highest ranking reservoir to lowest; reservoir 3 – reservoir 4 - reservoir 2 – reservoir 1.
