ABSTRACT
This study was designed to appraise the relationship between dietary supplements and optimum sport performance among University of Benin athletes. Five research questions were raised for the study. The descriptive survey research design was adopted for the study. The population of the study consists of 243 student athletes of University of Benin. The data was collected using the simple random technique and a sample size of 50 respondents from University of Benin athletes. The research instrument used for the study was a self-structured questionnaire. It was validated by two(2) experts in the field of Human Kinetics and Sports Science. The simple count, frequency percentage was used to analyze the demographic information of students, mean and standard deviation was used to analyze the response of the respondents to the research questions raised.
