ABSTRACT
Gender Violence is a pandemic that when discussed, is rarely ever gotten right. This is because Gender Violence all over the world and in Nigeria particularly has been given a feminist coloration. This myopic concept has hindered the process and progress in curbing this plague. A lot of students, scholars, feminists, and journalists have either willfully or ignorantly avoided the unsettling truth about Gender Violence and the purpose of this research is to bring individuals and society face to face with this bitter truth and only in facing this truth, would we be able to fight Gender Violence in Nigeria once and for all. This research focuses on the truth that men are also victims of Gender Violence in Nigeria and not just perpetrators like society has panned them out to be.
