ABSTRACT
The act of learning is more effective when conducted under a suitable or conducive environment. This is even more so, when the twin virtues of creativity and critical thinking are involved. A studio being a workstation for artists, when bereft of the needed infrastructures will hinder creativity. The 300 level studio in the Graphic Section in the Department of Fine and Applied Arts, University of Benin lacks the necessities required for an effective Graphic Design study and delivery. It is on this singular premise that the 2019/2020 graduating students, decided to take up the challenge of refurbishing the studio to make it more suitable for learning. This will be done by providing the studio with the required materials, such as furniture, projector, electrical fittings, ceiling fans, blinds, re-painting, etc. It is hoped that when these facilities are put in place, the studio will inspire as well as boost creativity both in the present as well as future graphic students in the Department
