ABSTRACT
This research work sought to assess the quality of life and it's associated factors among students in University of Benin. It has been observed that students encounter challenges with academic work due poor quality of life. The need to find out the causes and possible solutions to these problems was inevitable hence this research study. In order to guide this work, so as to achieve desired results, four research questions were raised.
The data used for this study was elicited by the use of structured questionnaire, which was designed by the Researcher and validated by the Project Supervisor and some other lecturers from the Department of Health, Safety and Environmental Education (HSE). A population sample size of 210 respondents was used out of the total population to elicit information. Data analysis was done using simple percentages.
The results from the sample with regards to the research questions shows that certain indicators such as unrealistic goals and emotional instability affect the quality of life of students.
