ABSTRACT
This research utilized the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS Version 24.0) to analyze questionnaire responses regarding the influence of mass media on childhood socialization. The objectives were to explore public perceptions of mass media’s role in this context, assess its impact on children's educational and behavioral development, and understand the social work implications. Findings indicate that mass media significantly shapes public perception and behavior through information dissemination. It plays a role in promoting environmental awareness and can influence children's behavior positively and negatively, enhancing creativity or fostering aggression due to exposure to violent content. Furthermore, mass media’s dual impact on children’s mental, physical, and emotional development was noted.
