PSYCHOLOGY OF CULTURAL PRESERVATION IN ACHEBE’S THINGS FALL APART

ABSTRACT

This work focuses on the Psychology of Cultural Preservation in Chinua Achebe's Things Fall Apart. This study makes use of the qualitative method and adopts the psychoanalytic theory by exploring various themes that exposes the cultural expressions of Igbo societies in Achebe's Things Fall Apart and the psychological motivation for preserving such cultures.
