This study examined the proximate composition, phytochemicals, and mineral content of Tecoma stans leaves to assess their nutritional and phytochemicalpotentials. The leaves were found to be in carbohydrates (7.32%) and fiber (15.78%), with moderate levels of protein and fat. Phytochemical analysis identified the presence of flavonoids, phenols, tannins, and saponins, with the ethanolic extract containing higher concentrations. Notably, the leaves contained substantial amounts of polyphenols (78.30 mg/100g) and vitamin C (33.67 mg/100g), indicating a strong antioxidant potential. Mineral analysis revealed essential minerals such as calcium (±) and magnesium(±), along with trace amounts of iron, zinc, and copper. These results support the traditional medicinal uses of Tecoma stans and suggest its potential for nutraceutical and pharmaceutical applications, though further studies are needed to explore its bioactive properties and ensure safety.
