SUMMARY

Political stereotypes are mostly about the preconceptions and assumptions of politicians and people involved in/with politics. However, the unpleasantness of the facts doesn't make them false. Stereotypes are two sided and as stated by Jussim the "High moral aim" (or lack [of it] thereof) will not transfer into scientific truth (or its absence). According to him, When people make generalisations about things like the weather or the flavour of oranges, for example, they do not automatically assume they're doing something wrong or erroneous. However, the idea that generalisations about humans are necessarily undesirable and wrong has long been ingrained in science without any justification. It is nearly hard to undertake social science research on stereotypes without encountering the academic emphasis on their unreliability.
