Abstract
The problem the researcher dealt with was the production of terracotta logo as plaque for mounting on the university of Benin structure. The production were in stages, these includes: sourcing the raw material, processing the raw material, the actual production process which also involve formulation of clay body, production of test pieces, modeling and cast mold production. They final production involves mold taking, drying and firing. The finished products were then mounted. The outcome of the project was successful, this indicates the suitability of local raw materials utilized in the project.
