ABSTRACT

The emergence of film has paved a way for humans to have knowledge about most things that happen in the society as it isn’t just for entertainment. It mirrors the activities of the society we live in and creates awareness. The actual black and white reality we are used to might not be all it seems because there is always an underlined story. This study gives a detailed content analysis of the Nigerian film “93 Days” which is directed by Steve Gukas. The film highlights the internal wars certain individuals fought in order to attain the position of being called a hero in the society. It also explains why these individuals should be seen and regarded as heroes whose personality and deeds should be preserved and idolized .
